Uniting Our Youth, Inc., organized in June 2008, is an IRS-designated 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in the District of Columbia.

Our primary purpose is to offer our youth and young adults positive alternatives to negative gang/crew participation.  We also support the building of strong healthy families within our community, assuring that our youth recognize their valuable role and work towards its achievement!

Our motto, as we encourage all residents of our communities, city-wide, is:

What We Do

After-School Activities:
The goal of the after-school program is to offer support to the children who have learning impediments and disabilities. Moreover, the program provides a structured, violence-free learning environment, will include home work help.

Drugs, Guns, Gangs Awareness Class:
The point of the class is to explain to youth the dangers involved in drugs, guns, and gangs so as to help them to avoid them.

Mentoring:
Activities will be geared toward redirecting these youth into positive, legal activities. Activities will include recreactional activities, tutoring, and fatherhood and motherhood classes.
